Over 50 years ago our founder the late great Bishop O.B. Brintley had a great burden for the people of God. His desire was to build a holiness church in the Cleveland County area so people could come and worship God freely, and have a church to call home. He pursued and found over 8 acers of land in Grover, NC the place of our current location. He stood on the land with just 11 cent in his pocket and spoke by faith that he was going to build a church for God's people. 

By faith, him being a skilled contractor by trade, he begin to build. Many thought that he was in over his head, but eventually family and friends begin to assist him by donating their time, their funds, and lending a hand whenever they where available. Soon the building was complete and Bethlehem Temple Church was launched and open to the public. People begin to come, many were healed, delivered and set free, but overtime the members begin to outgrow the building, so the members of BT came together in faith and Bishop O.B. made the decision to build a bigger facility.  The faithful members and partners of BT worked together in unity, and built our current facility over the smaller facility. They tore down the smaller church or AKA the "tater house" inside the bigger church and they never missed a Sunday. 

Presiding Bishop O.B. Brintley pastored Bethlehem Temple Church for over 37 years with his wife Lady Ruby Brintley right by his side. The church later evolved into a nondenominational ministry, and Bishop O.B. and Lady Ruby made great strides in the community and touched many life's. Later, he and Lady Ruby following him, passed away and Bishop O.B. left the ministry to his son, assistant Pastor Bishop John Brintley and Lady Veronica who in 2021 remodeled the sanctuary and are continuing the great legacy that Bishop O.B. and Lady Ruby Brintley have left behind. Our church was founded by faith, and it has continued to be our faith in God that has granted us the victory for over 50 plus years.
